Let's answer a few questions you might have...
Do you ship?

Yes we do!

We charge a flat fee of $4.99 on orders we are able to package and drop off in USPS or UPS. For bigger items such as furniture pieces, stained glass windows, doors etc. we ship locally as well as anywhere in the U.S. Send us an email or call the shop for a shipping quote.

Is all your inventory available on the website?

No. We have thousands of items constantly in and out of the store. Our website reflects a preview of our inventory. We are a small, but mighty, team and we are constantly working on our online shop. We upload new items daily! 

What are your store hours?

Store Hours

  • Tuesday-Saturday: 10am-5pm
  • Sunday: 11am-4pm

Where do you get your inventory from?

All over the world!

We buy salvage rights to buildings that are scheduled to be demolished. 

We import items from Europe, India, Guatemala, Mexico etc...

Our favorite way of acquiring inventory is by going on inventory trips throughout the country! 

We also buy from people and attend estate sales.

 

Do you buy items from people?

Yes we do! If you are interested in selling an item send us pictures, information on the item, and asking price. If you do not have an asking price and want us to make an offer, let us know! If we love it, we will reach back out to you and purchase your item.

How long have you been in business for?

Dead People's Stuff Architectural Antiques has been around since 1978 and in our current location since the late 1990's. Previously known as Architectural Antiques. 

What is your return policy.

All sales are final.

Do you offer consignment?

Unfortunately we do not offer consignment. All inventory items are bought outright by Dead People's Stuff.

Do you offer layaway?

At the moment, we do not offer layaway. 

Do you have more than one location?

We're faithful to 1900 Linwood Boulevard.

Do you only carry antiques in your shop?

We carry antiques, vintage, reproductions and new items. Our shop is for everyone!

Do you do repairs and restorations?

Yes we do. We have a workshop in the store where we are able to work on the restoration of items. Give us a call if you need any work done on doors, light fixtures, stained glass, windows, etc.

Do you do custom projects?

We do. Give us a call if you have any questions. 

What is the compound?

The compound is 1900 Linwood Boulevard. It's the building we're in! We're lucky to be a part of The Compound along with the other local business in the building.
